Don't you think playing cards could use a facelift?
It's about time playing cards got a facelift, don't you think? What do all those kings, queens and jacks signify anyway? They've always got such sullen expressions. The kings have those "creeper" mustaches. The queens all look like nuns. And what is an ace, exactly?
Ah ha! Now this is what we call an ace! With all due respect to Lemmy and Motörhead, we'll take Amelia Earhart on our ace of spades any day. Talk about a badass! Now that any common schlub can go from Boston to Paris in 6 hours, whilst zoning out on his iPad, we forget what an adventure it was to fly back then. And she made it look so damn cool!
Incidentally, they don't make terms like "aviatrix" any more, do they? Like, when was the last time you used that word? Never. It's time to start.
