What's more interesting than a talking chimp?
As anyone who's ever watched the National Geographic channel knows, chimps have amazing minds. And they can be taught complex human things. But who cares whether they can count? Or learn English? Or think abstractly in order to solve problems? That stuff is booor-ring!
We say the hell with that, let's teach chimps karate! How sick would that be? A chimp cutting through the air with the a flying sidekick. They'd be tough opponents, too. They've already got crazy ape strength on their side. Plus that low center of gravity. Anytime they wanted to sweep the leg, it'd be there for the taking.
I mean, what could possibly go wrong with teaching apes to fight us? It's not like they're going to take over the planet and turn it into some sort of "ape planet." Pffft!
