NSA Tape Recorder T-Shirt
Responding to widespread criticism of its controversial surveillance programs, the National Security Agency yesterday unveiled its new "Tell (on) a Friend" program. Under the new campaign, citizens will be rewarded for referring friends and family to the agency.
Of particular interest are friends and family who exhibited "quirky or interesting" behavior. NSA officials suggested this could include, for example, studying blueprints of government buildings, speaking in languages other than English while on the phone, walking with inconsistent limps, use of slang terms such as "jihad" and "death to America," kneeling in a particular direction five times a day, worshiping a lord and savior other than Jesus Christ, rooting for France during the World Cup, excessive book reading, and discussing current events in an excited or passionate manner.
As a reward, referrers will be given this free t-shirt and one year of phone-tap-free long distance.
