I've Almost Finished My Screenplay T-Shirt
Hey man, does this place have an outlet I can plug my Macbook into? I'm in a creative zone right now and don't want to lose it. See, I'm in the final stages of my screenplay. Think "Gone with the Wind meets Pinocchio" but in Harlem. Yeah, I know, it's pretty ambitious. But any groundbreaking piece of art always sounds a little crazy at first.
The plot? Well, it's a little hard to explain because it follows a totally nonlinear progression. The narrative flows more like two upside-down ampersands than a straight line, which is what you're used to. Yeah, it's never been done before. Basically the main character starts out as a 92 year-old man and ends up as a lesbian grasshopper.
I'm keeping it on the QT for now. I don't want to create too much buzz before the time is right. But I showed a draft to Harvey's people and they already said they love it.
