About this product

Did you check the swell report? In an unprecedented feat of evolution, some polar bears in the North Pole have responded to rising sea levels by taking up surfing. The phenomenon was first observed last week, when researchers spotted a polar bear catching waves on a shortboard while hunting for harp seals.

"It definitely wasn't his first time," said a member of the research team. "We spotted him gunning it through a barrel, and then kicking it into a perfect frontside air reverse. To be honest, he seemed kind of cocky."

Experts say it's the first evidence of animals engaging in water sports since a group of river otters was found tubing on a party raft near Portland, Ore.
