Try Something New Every Day T-Shirt
As you can see by my t-shirt, I live by the creed of constant self improvement. Whether it's writing a song, taking a Pilates class, or leaping out of a moving car, I'm always trying new things.
I find that movies are an excellent source of new ideas. For instance, Raiders of the Lost Ark got me really interested in archeology, so I took a course on archeology. The movie Blades of Glory got me really obsessed with ice skating. And before I watched the movie Trainspotting, I had no idea how much I enjoyed the drug heroin. Now I'm a certified "heroin enthusiast!" It really shows you how quickly you can get the hang of something.
Not all ideas you see in the movies are good though. For example, one of my favorite movies is this one called Marked for Death. It was a terrific movie, but many of the things Steven Seagal does in that movie would actually be considered illegal. Very illegally, actually. (That's what the authorities later told me, anyway.)
