About this product
Albert "Doc" Einstein is widely considered the greatest physicist of the 20th century. He developed the special and general theories of relativity. He won the Nobel Prize for his explanation of the photoelectric effect. And he stuck his tongue out that one time, which was pretty funny.
But perhaps Einstein's greatest accomplishment is one that is less widely known. In 1955 at the ol' Hill Valley clock tower, he turned a DeLorean sports car into a time machine by using a flux capacitor and a bolt of lightning to send the car and its driver 30 years into the future. How Einstein knew the lightning was going to hit at that exact time, in that exact place, remains a mystery. As does how he was able to find an obscure 80s sports car in the mid-1950s. But hey, they don't call him Einstein for nothing.
Einstein would go on to live a long life, surviving an assassination attempt by the Libyans by wearing a bulletproof vest. He was last seen in 1985, blasting off into the future in his DeLorean. Just before taking off, he flipped down his futuristic sunglasses and uttered the now-famous line: "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads."
