About this product
When Neil Armstrong took his first step on the moon, he uttered these now-famous words: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
Or did he? Many have claimed that Armstrong actually said: "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind."
In fact, both are wrong. What Armstrong really said was: "We're here. We're queer." Then he planted a rainbow-colored pride flag into the lunar surface and shouted "Get used to it!" (NASA officials later chalked it up to a bad audio feed.) It's amazing how prophetic Armstrong's words were — a full 9 years before the rainbow flag was first debuted, no less!
Funny what we think we remember, isn't it?
