I devour books. Not in the literal sense, of course. It's not like I go out hunting for books, single out a weak or injured book, and then kill and eat that book. I could see how you might think that, what with me being a wolf and all. But eating a bunch of paper, ink and cardboard is probably not good for my wolf stomach. No, I meant that as a metaphor. I'm such a voracious reader that I have a near bottomless appetite for books.
How did I learn to read? Hmm. I honestly don't know. I'm beginning to think that I'm part of this metaphor as well.
