Gandhi Says Relax T-Shirt
In seemingly tough times like these, I like to turn to the lessons of Mohandas Gandhi for some perspective. Gandhi, of course, faced harsh oppression -- the likes of which most of us will never know -- and helped free the Indian people from British rule through nonviolent resistance.
Along the way, Gandhi left us a legacy of words to live by. For instance, it was Gandhi who said, "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." He also said that "peace is its own reward." And he once proclaimed, "I am prepared to die, but there is no cause for which I am prepared to kill."
I believe it was also Gandhi who said, "Relax. Don't do it. When you want to suck to it. Relax don't do it. When you want to come." It was one of his more lurid quotations, but it really makes sense when you think about it.
